SWOT Analysis

Things to include in your proposal:

A SWOT analysis is a way to determine where you stand within your market. This guided breakdown of Strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats allows you to make strategic decisions for your racing program.

Businesses use this tool in the same manner to make the decisions that will impact the future of their companies. By creating a SWOT analysis not only does it show potential marketing partners that you understand who and what your team is, but it also gives you an idea of where you can improve to stamp out any potential issues.

Completing a SWOT analysis is easy, but you must be brutally honest with yourself. Simply make a square with four segments. Label each quadrant with one of the SWOT sectors – strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, threats. Then get to work listing as many things in each category as you can things off, remembering that the strengths and weaknesses are things you and your team can control while the opportunities and threats are outside forces that your team can prepare for but not control.
