Pottsville, PA: October 11, 2020: “The comeback is always stronger than the setback.” Tyler Peet and the 12t crew proved that this year in a massive way!

The 2020 season started in a way no one could have predicated. With most tracks unable to start their seasons as scheduled, the season opener would be pushed off. When the green flags finally waved, the 12t did not go. The team battled motor issues for weeks that threatened to shut down their racing operation for the season.

By the end of July, it seemed impossible to salvage the season and the team contemplated their limited options, finally deciding to put one foot in front of the other and make it happen. That is exactly what they did. Tyler hit the track on Aug 10th after missing 7 weeks of racing and had a great run that would turn the season around. The momentum from that night stuck with Tyler and the 12t Hig Fab seemed to love Big Diamond Speedway.

On September 25th, it finally happened! Tyler drove to the checkered flag and straight to his first sportsman victory. The team wasn’t done yet! The following week, Tyler drove from the back of the pack to a 3rd place finish! This weekend, Tyler and the crew kept it going, becoming the only sportsman driver with 2 wins under his belt at the track!

“It felt really awesome being able to get the win. Definitely a really cool moment being able to win something as cool as Diamond Nationals. The car was really hooked up and I can’t thank my dad, family, sponsors, and fans for all of the help and support.” -Tyler Peet

The 17 year old driver out of Lake Ariel, PA will be on the track next at Orange County Fair Speedway for Eastern States Weekend!
